Michele Lalo

Ms. Lalo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she resides with her Panamanian husband. She has three sons. She received her B.A. in Journalism and Psyhcology from the University of Miami. She received a Masters Degree in Jewish Education from the Spertus Institute in Chicago, Illinois.

From 2011-2013, Ms. Lalo was the Charities Director for the International Women’s Club, Inc. (IWC), a Dominican non-profit organization that was founded over 15 years ago by a group of English speaking women who wanted to provide a meeting place and social network for international women living in the Dominican Republic. With over 150 members, the IWC serves a wide range of charitable organizations throughout the country through donations and volunteer service. As Charities Director, Ms. Lalo was responsible for overseeing the club’s volunteer network, supervising the IWC’s donations program and serving as the club’s liaison with all of the charitable organizations that it supports.

Ms. Lalo is currently the President of the Parent/Teacher Organization of the Carol Morgan School of Santo Domingo.
