Vocal and Director of International Relations
Claudia Mansfield LaRue grew up in Santo Domingo and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is also a Chevening Scholar, having obtained a Master’s degree in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde. Ms. LaRue has ample experience in the areas of corporate social responsibility and communications, and has specialized in sustainable community development and international partnerships. She brings to Granito de Arena her experience as a successful manager of corporate and government contracts in the telecom industry and the non-profit sector. Currently, serving as a Delegate from the Dominican Republic to the United Nations, she is even more convinced that having an empowered civil society is a key element to achieving sustainable development. In addition to being a Vocal on the Board of Directors, Ms. Mansfield is also the Director of International Relations for the Asociación Granito de Arena para Mi País (GRANPAIS).
